Saw Hovvdy live Monday night in St. Paul and it was awesome. Way louder than I was expecting which was also awesome. They played their new song Shooting Star with runo plum for the first time live and that was pretty cool too (this was not one of the louder songs)

I love a concert venue with a GA balcony. It’s perfect for people like me who can’t stand for as long as I used to. And people like me who are too short to stand in the back. The view is still fucking fantastic and I can sit when I need to.
Saw the Vaccines last night and they were so goddamn good. I’m still crushing so hard on Matt Hitt after all these years. (If I could post videos you’d realize they‘re all focused on Matt).
Thus Love opened for them and they were also really good! Their sound reminded me of The Strypes a little. My bf bought me their record on the way out and I can’t wait to listen.

Believe it or not my first electronic music show 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
No way to do it better than starting with legend, icon, slayer, opn. He played an incredible show with silly moments from a Kurt Vile head in a box cameo, to a violist joining him on stage.
My favorite moment was hearing Zones Without People. That song fr does something to me everytime I hear it. 1000/10

I didn’t like how big all toiletry bags were so I made one. It’s just big enough to hold my glasses, contacts, toothbrush, and a few other things. I also made a catchall for my pocket things out of the same canvas.

Overcomplicated actually. I needed a pencil cup for my desk, so I made one out of Trader Joe’s turkey chili can. I left it at that for a while, then decided to make a base out of plywood and bolt the can to it through the bottom, providing slightly more stability and preventing my pencils from spilling all over my desk.
