i've been taking a life drawing class over the summer, partly because it's something to do, partly because it keeps me in a routine, partly because a prof i really like teaches it, and partly because said prof advertised that he was teaching it over the summer, and recommended that i (and others) take it.
anyhow the first day was like, great? like i was slowly improving and such. and then the past 4 classes i left feeling slightly defeated, like i was getting worse somehow. i stuck with it though, and it's paying off! i've started getting better at bodies, and today it finally clicked in my head how heads work, lol.
i'm still not at a point of being extremely confident in my work, but i am at a point where i can tell i've improved in the past 6 classes, which is better than nothing!
