My handwriting changes based on my emotional state too. I journal mostly to figure out my emotions and also to record good things that have happenned. Its so silly seeing the harsh rushed lines compared to the dreamy loopy lines. We ARE constantly everchanging 🦋

i write in my journal every morning and use a red brush tip pen for the fluid, imprecise strokes of the “dream journal” segment upon waking up. then i switch to a black felt tip flair pen for the reflective/thoughtful journaling. the vibe change is absolutely in my handwriting!!

@DEARDOVESWINGS if the paper is completely sideways i get beautiful script/cursive but if its straight up&down all i can do are capital letters

everybody's handwriting

i absolutely adore looking at people's handwriting, legible or not. i love neat script and i love chicken scratch. it is personal and intimate because it's your own but also something you picked up along the way from all those around you! the ways i've written f's, g's, a's, and so on have changed over time from observing other people's neat ways to write them. it is so beautiful to be able to recognize someone's handwriting tbh bc it means handwriting holds so much personality. if it's hard to read, i don't care. i'll ask you what it says. i'll pick up the nuances of your handwritten alphabet.
