i've been thinking a lot about the minecraft soundtrack recently, in light of the movie. it's nice that its the only thing about the game that hasn't been diluted to theme park slop - it's still scary, sad, strange. listening to AFUT on an actual plane is a thing i haven't experienced yet - maybe now is the time. i will listen to miesterzinger tonight. what a title!
@MATTYI I believe the movie was doomed to fail capturing the game’s spirit / atmosphere from the start unfortunately. Meisterzinger makes me feel solemn, sort of like being haunted by a ghost at the beach. Highly recommend checking out Megira’s Tomorrow’s Gone compilation album as well. You’ll undoubtedly find some gems.
