@MOONBEAMS <3 all good as i’ve concentrated all that energy and am embracing it in adulthood. i try my best to take pics when i’m feeling up for it and am at peace with my teen years being very sparsely documented.

I found this photo of myself circa ~1994 and loved my energy in it. It’s a tight crop from a larger photo that included my parents. Not sure if this was genuine or a bit of a pose (I can be a ham) but the ennui captures more of my internal energy as an adult than I felt as a kid. Because while I’m a pretty hopeful, positive person, this photo is also how the world - and the experience of being a person in it - can make me feel at least once a day.
