knowing that your poster was used in a cinema .. or at least was destined to be used in a cinema .. ugh you can’t beat it. plus they look extra cool. i also love the japanese promotional A4 flyers. they’re overpriced a little on ebay but on mercari japan they’re super cheap and they look extra cool. they’re also good if you’re short on space. or just a massive collector like me ☝️
(there’s a shop here in spain that sells originals for fab prices but idk how international they’re willing to ship, but movieposters is a really really great website for this kinda stuff and they have some absolute gems on there. or you can ask your local cinema for theirs. but i’m too shy to do that)

New obsession added to my film ephemera stash. It’s amazing the way they photographed assets (individual sets with everything in it) is exactly the procedure we use today before we send off to movie lot 🤯.
Great for any Art Department Set Decoration, Props & Production Design snobs 📺

they’re so fun and cheap and they have such cool poster designs on them!! i get them from mercari japan but lots of places sell them. great way to fill up your walls with cool mini posters for cheap

as i scroll on this app i go to comment and ask the person oh what’s the movie about? or where is this restaurant you’re recommending? or what is a campari soda and where the hell do i get it. but i can just google all these things! hmph. a conundrum.
there’s something to not googling it and learning from someone else. i avoid going to the internet during a convo for this reason

il i always remind myself that life has so much intrinsic value. life in of itself is the most valuable thing we all own. so even tho ur life may not be greatest at the moment, it’s still better than not being able to experience hardships at all. so, be thankful for the hard times cuz it what it means to live!!
