My current best friend and I have known each other for almost 10 years now, and we got along from the very first moment we met (she even made me a drawing that day, which I really appreciated).
But we also had other friends we were closer to—until one day, one of my best friends at the time started being homeschooled. We kind of grew apart, since she lives a few hours away and we couldn’t really stay in touch because of our schedules.
Then my other best friend moved to the United States. So, I started spending more time with my now-best friend, and I love how we make each other laugh like total idiots.
