Started reading this book 8 months ago and haven’t been able to pick it back up. It made me feel insane about falling in love and the feeling of obsession. Hope to one day finish but it’s really moving.

I hadn't read a novel in about 45 years (I only care about stuff that is true) but I absolutely fell in love with this book and truly could not put it down. Nolan's novel is about obsession, sex, love and booze and boy addiction-- all the hits. I've never brought a book (or myself) onto the elliptical, but cut to me last month at Equinox absolutely devouring this book while taking little slidey steps to and fro. By the way, last week I saw a girl on the treadmill with her hair down?????? Someone send an ambulance!

This is a whole book by the author John McCarthy. If you have grown up poor in the Midwest, you will know what he is talking about. 10/10

ignore that our band’s name is Candy. I’ve coincidentally found myself so obsessed with this old candy that I ordered a 6lb bulk box from the distributor last week. Great for parties and at the entryway to ur apartment
