Taminoās Amir is a stunning blend of Western music and Egyptian roots. His sound feels timeless ,ethereal vocals, poetic lyrics, and deep inspiration from religion, philosophy, and mythology. Itās haunting, beautiful, and incredibly moving. Definitely one of my top 5 artists, and Amir sits firmly in my top 10 albums of all time.
i call this song the lebanese shine on you crazy diamond, which might be a tad bit reductionist, but itās the only thing i can think of to even begin to describe issam hajaliās nearly 12 minute soaring psychedelic-soaked symphony, that changes up even more times than shine on. do yourself a favor and set aside some time to indulge in this one, trust me.

When I was seven, an 80s movie aired on TV, and I watched it until my mom turned it off at bedtime. I cried, wanting to see the rest, but she refused, and I eventually fell asleep. The next day, I couldnāt remember the movieās name, so I never finished itāuntil today. It aired again, and the experience was surreal; I remembered every detail and finally saw the ending.
It's a big NO from me for Espresso and Please Please Please , they were the Dance Monkey of 2024. I swear, I get so uncomfortable whenever either of those songs comes on.
