I don’t know how to explain this well… I don’t mean buy a second version of a shirt you already have, I mean when you try something on and it feels like you owning it is already a true fact of the world even though you don’t own anything like it… fulfilling clothing prophesy perhaps
haven't had that feeling in a while usually when I try on clothes lately it's like "well this feels wrong / like a costume / not me" and it's so glorious when you have a moment of this is JUST RIGHT
with what you have. if it resonates with you so much then you probably already have stuff that can fill that void. i tried on this acne top and had to take a picture and write on it so i didn’t forget.

Maybe this is a me problem, but don’t buy a piece of clothing that you really like and just mostly leave it in your closet bc you think it is too nice for everyday events. Bonus: A lot of the times the item starts to look better with more wear.
Gazpacho only in the late summer, persimmons only in the winter, etc. just because we can import anything from anywhere anytime doesn’t mean we should. Nothing is special if you can have it whenever you want it.
