This isnāt really my usual genre but such insanely masterful technique. A great cultural snapshot of the acid house-adjacent British Big Beat music of the late 90s and early 2000s. love this and i think whatever kind of music youāre into youāll love it too. the sampling work is soooo good

Iām a hobbyist dj and played on an internet radio station for the last couple of years but fell off of it and pursued other projects
I have a playlist of some tracks I play out at open decks nights in my town (basically you show up with a USB to dj on CDJs provided at a bar or club)
This playlist has a bunch of tech house, trance, hard groove, electro, acid, breakbeats/jungle/dnb, some bass music and UK garage and some dembow/global club music

I liked finding out that this is a word/thing cuz I totally relate. I just love (going to or hosting) events (apartment housewarmings, dj sets, dinners, breakfasts, movie nights, whatever it may be..). if it's a thing that's happening and I'm with/inviting friends, it's An Event idc!

By just having some time to myself to smoke a j alone and vibe in my room. Have not done this in years, didnāt smoke for a while either (classic reasons, anxiety etc) but itās been fun to see myself as more grown up since I last did this. kind of feels like convening with a past self and being like - yes life is weird but that means that anything goes and thatās great, Iām having fun š«¶š¤·āāļø
