perfect album front to back. my sister’s friend said one time that every indie song is trying to be someday by the strokes and I think that ’s true.
i had been sleeping on it for so long, didnt realise that the strokes have such a braod spectrum. it sounds like a mermaid’s melody and a warm blanket on a cold night all at once!
not sure what it is but their music has been hitting for me again lately. specifically You Only Live Once

I have these thrifted like true granny mumus and I swear to god when I wear them im like I am fertile and beautiful and god is within me and I understand my mother. cannot overstate how ugly these mumus are but they’re so soft and the way they sit like… ethereal.
