Drops of jupiter by train

Hit radio plays at work every day so I’m always hearing songs I haven’t heard in years and for some reason this one has made it onto the stations rotarion for the past week. There’s something about this song that keeps me coming back on my own and while I do think Train is cheese there is such an honesty to this song that I cannot deny. It made its way onto my giant playlist of the moment and I’m here listening in the dark and recommending it to all of you

Like a Ship

My favorite song of the week, maybe month. Heard it for the first time driving down a long winding road and it seemed twice as long than it actually was. Every word fell into place like a mantra. 10/10 - go for a walk or a drive and melt into it all.

I can’t decide which is more perfect: The Roblox-looking video Or the “I fell in love to that song” summertime perfection of the tune itself? (Which seems to be about starting over/turning a life page, appropriate for a band that hasn’t released an album in six years) On auto-repeat in my head rn 🎶

I keep a "survey book"

it's a small sketchbook with a survey of questions I ask everyone who comes over. Each person gets their own page to answer the questions and are required to draw a self portrait with it. People love doing it because everyone gets a spotlight moment, it generates conversation, and I get a fun memento

Running slow is good

I don’t care anymore how many people pass me on the road or about other people’s strava screenshots - I just enjoy being outside and listening to some tunes and moving around in the world
