this album is genuinely fantastic!
i would describe it as a screamy alternative rock album, definitely with influences from hardcore, emo, and indie rock. that being said, i think that it is still suuuuper palatable for people who don't tend to listen to music that's as hard as what i listen to π
i went to the album release show back in march on the night of its release and the show was MAGICAL! i also saw Zeta open for them and they are also actually so goated. genuinely one of the best shows i've been to in a very long time :P
ps- the rest of their discography is also insane plsss give them a listen

fucking awesome album from some of the best guys around in rock at the moment. i'm not sure if they've reached the 'mericas yet but guys im so serious -- check them out. too many highlights to list just go listen <<333

HARD NOOO!!! I feel like the content that they might be digesting is just super overstimulating. my sister's son will throw tantrums if he doesn't get his screen time (5 years old) , my little cousins throw tantrums if they don't get their screen time (aged 6 and 7), and it's kind of scary. my little cousins have their own TV's and gaming consoles. I feel like reading books to your tiny children should be more encouraged as well. I'm not saying to get rid of all access to technology for them, because it's fine in moderation. it should be handled very carefully though. ahhhh!!!

directed by the same people who directed Little Miss Sunshine (2006), which also features Paul Dano. it's an amazing movie!! it critiques the manic pixie dream girl trope which I like.
