on the low end of my top 15 greatest albums but there’s something so heart rendering and wonderful about it at the same time. I always come back to it when I’m feeling moody.
The Radio Dept is a band that I feel is severely under appreciated. This album will always hold a special place in my heart. Definitely in my personal top 10.
It's like a nice warm hug of Northern European lo-fi reverb-laden goodness.
This is also my go-to daytime high album. It's sunshine in sound. Carefree incarnate. Peace, bliss, and fuzz. A good buzz/trip guarantee. Go ahead and give it a try.
i heart mitski etc a LOT but this isn’t sad music in that sense. everyone knows the less i know the better but the album as a whole is really great. currents is a about the ups and downs of the breakup and moving on process, kind of in a chronological order (and with neo-psychedelia sound instead of sad indie. i’ve found that sometimes a mix up in breakup music can be nice)
if you haven’t done so before def listen to it in one sitting and in order with headphones on (or on vinyl!)
so much to talk about, the sunglasses, the scarf, the fresh baguette and coffee, the always lovely cafe setting. I think this is the most swag ever captured on camera I aspire to be at this level
alright hear me out: carbonation and coffee with a squeeze of orange shouldn’t work, but it does. Been making them daily and i feel a lot better in the morning each time i do
