yes everybody knows how to take home the country roads, but i was raised on this man’s catalog and this is where the heat is. we always had a couple johnny d CDs in the car, so nothing feels right on a road trip until i hear thank god i’m a country boy :) also the plane crash that he died in happened in monterey, so the last time my dad and i drove highway 1 we played this for a bit of an in memoriam moment. rip to a real one
