An elderly friend of mine invites me over for tea sometimes, and yesterday she wanted to show me the baby river herons outside her window — they nest there every year, and she loves how scraggly they look:
yesterday I went to my friends parents place to help him go through the stuff he still had there as his parents are moving, and he showed me a little nest some birds had made in the planter on their porch!!! I got to see them all sit up and open their mouths and wiggle. So lovely
i have some pretty cool videos of the birds but alas i cannot share them😔
we have 2 magpies that have a nest with babies in our tree and they're always arguing. someone needs to get them to couple's counseling asap.
going out is expensive and afternoons & evenings can be busy, invite someone over to your place before noon and make a pot of coffee — enjoy company for company’s sake 🥂
