This album will always hold a special place in my heart as my introduction to R&B. Daniel Caesar sings beautiful lyrics over beautiful instrumentals. Every feature is natural and the pacing is great. To me, this isnāt just a no-skip album, itās perfect the whole way through.

In the circles I run in, itās very underappreciated. Freddie and Alchemist mustāve sold their souls or something because the album from start to finish is literally the most beautiful and perfectly executed album ever. Itās perfect for long drives, walks around the neighborhood, and itās perfect barbershop music. If you know what I mean. The lyrics exude a certain rawness and sincerity that, when juxtaposed with the peaceful samples on the instrumentals, form the perfect listening experience. The album feels too intimate at times; it genuinely takes me aback.

I don't know if this is a call for help, but I've been exclusively listening to one album for almost two months now. This masterpiece dropped in March, and I've clocked in about 300 listens, but who's counting? We are. Bonus rec, the boys and I have linked our Spotify accounts to last.fm to keep track of every song we listen to.Giveon has such a unique, well rounded, really deep voice. This is one of those albums where every song hits for me. Never thought I'd say this, but I think he may have even knocked Daniel Caesar off of my R&B artist throne.

Favorite album of 2025 so far. Beautiful instrumentals and amazing songwriting. Some of these moments just hit so hard: the āDazed and Confusedā modulation, the strings in āTell Me That Iām Wrong,ā the energy of āJust Becauseā and āSee You Laterā š©.
