As a future architect, I can assure you that the biggest reason architects don't build these is because they are too expensive. Structures like these are built from tax money and there's better use for that money than to build a Colosseum. And even if we get that fund, the damn bureaucrats and politicians try to ruin every thing at every step.

@WORLDONFIRE i played beta back in high school but resented it for a while after bc my bf at that time would constantly miss dates bc he’d just play for hours on end. i picked it up recently as a casual thing to just explore caves with my husband. great game but my fav sandbox will always be gary’s mod

The Tik Tok trend and the way we’ve normalized scrolling the app for hours is alarming. Tik Tok videos aim to deliver little doses of dopamine or a type of virtual reality. It’s evil and distracting. The “high” one feels from scrolling the app is a lie, just like doing a bit of crack or heroin. Tik Tok is more harmful to our society and our minds than Instagram, because Tik Tok distances you from reality even more. But of course, there are some people who create great art on Tik Tok and I feel proud of those people.
