Fanta's "Haunted Apple" flavor was created last year as a way to promote the (then) upcoming movie, "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice"
I bought a case near the end of the flavor's lifespan, but still have a few left, so I figured I'd pop one open and talk about it.
It's not good. I'm not necessarily sure what I expected from a flavor marked as "spiced apple", but it tastes closer to a candle than an actual beverage.
The notes of different spices mixed with the artificial green apple flavor make for a soda that tastes the way Bath and Bodyworks smells in the fall time.
As I've slowly (and I do mean slowly) drank the case I originally bought, the flavor has grown on me, but I still wouldn't recommend it to anyone who isn't feeling adventurous.
I'm not entirely sure what test audiences they used to validate this flavor's existence, but I would like to meet them and ask what THEY thought this tasted like, and why they said they liked it.

i got bamboozled when i saw the cool design & passion fruit flavor. i’ve seen multiple customers literally gag after trying this. my roommate says it reminds her of the mysterious puddle that accumulates at the juice shop where she works

A flower flavored seltzer?! It’s a combo of artificial cherry, and maybe a hint of linden? Can someone with a more sophisticated palette try it and let me know what’s going on? I’m really enjoying this room temperature too- tell me I’m crazy, I don’t care!

my fav “guilty” pleasure is the American Fanta flavours that I buy (for an extortionate amount) from my local corner shop. My favourite ia probably peach or strawberry, followed by grape. they‘re my little luxury when I’m feeling down. theyre just so good, it’s probably the illegal High Fructose corn syrup.

Buckled in this giant thing of popcorn my cousin gave me after our movie on this fine evening.
Not only did it keep my buttery perfection safe,
But it also made me laugh the entire way home.
More buckling up of random things please.
