hearing my coworkers/classmates casually say “let’s ask chatGPT” instead of “let’s google it” makes me feel insane. i’m not even a strictly anti-AI person but it feels like overnight it became the default way of navigating EVERYTHING for people younger than me- i’m glad i’m not the only one who hates this.

i genuinely don’t understand the need for an “assistant“ in every app now, it reminds me of how social media apps would copy each other to death, fighting to become the most popular one. remember when ig copied snapchat stories, or threads as the new twitter, the new be-real-like feature on ig, etc…?? except it’s even worse with this. people keep tagging freaking grok everywhere for nonsense on twt, there’s meta AI in every meta app, and now idk if they made Siri function with AI tech (i looked it up and there wasn’t a definite answer, but if anyone knows please tell me!!!). my obvious biggest concern is the environment, while the rise of anti-intellectualism is also at bay. i’m also tired of my university profs pushing AI onto me in an effort of trying to seem more modern. genuinely, i don’t think there’s anything that pisses me off more than chatgpt.

it still baffles me that there are people out there who heavily rely on chatgpt, maybe even have fully replaced google, to make the decisions for them. idk which is worse using chatgpt or tiktok as a search engine bc what the actual fuck ?? 😭

nothing will ever change my mind ever. chatgpt is gen z and gen alpha‘s equivalent of boomers refusal to recycle and ignorance of the environmental destruction that factories have caused. it’s making all of you dumb, stupid, and lazy sheep. if you can’t write an email or to-do list without a robot……….. all hope is lost for humanity. truly genuinely sincerely do not care even a little bit who gets offended by this… somany more thoughts i could go for hours. there is no circumstance where i think a.i. use is NECESSARY enough to actually use it ever
