@AL1 no i think its on the table bc somehow its easier to be vulnerable with strangers and become friendly than to suddenly reveal a different part of yourself to people you already know

@AL1 same reason its easier to be naked in front of random old ladies in the locker room than in front of an acquaintance.,. you have a facade built up and its more embarrassing to break it down than to be a certain way from the start

this app, not really an app, has actually been around for something like 149 years and it is fantastic I've been down the searching for the perfect messaging app rabbit hole more times and for more hours than I care to confess. I got the people in my life on Google Hangouts. Then dragged them to Whatsapp. Then convinced them to move over to Signal. I realize that I was looking for something that an app couldn't satisfy: a healthier/better way of communicating. Lately I've just been loving having phone calls with people. Or Facetime or zoom convos. It's real and dynamic. What's some of what you are looking for?
