The Goldfinch - Donna Tartt My personal favourite from her, but whenever anyone asks which of her books to read, I still say The Secret History. My copy of TGF is from Shakespeare and Co, so it has the cool little stamp, but unfortunatley I spilled a purple highlighter over it. Fight Club - Chuck Palahniuk Just as amazing as the film. So well written, and it’s a short and easy read. I’ve decided I’m going to annotate my copy soon, I’m completely obsessed to the point of it being irritating to the people around me. The Bell Jar - Sylvia Plath Insanely basic, I know, but the Fig Tree analogy just really resonated with me. I have two copies of the book, one is illustrated, and it’s one of my prettiest. Anyway, I know I have insanely basic favourites, so if anyone has any recs similar to these lmkkkk 🤗
