This 100%. Girl I liked I remained friends w and she told me who she was crushing on. Embarrassing ass guy to like not because he was chopped or anything i just really did not like him or see anything endearing in that man. made me realize yk what maybe I don’t want to be in the same category as the people u like but power to u.
Somewhat related when I found out that the guy i used to have a crush on was weird to his gf (who was actually the aforementioned girl I had a crush on) I was like oh. I’m gonna pretend I never liked you because why would you treat anyone like that Much less the fine woman who willingly is dating you. We are never free in the moment but become so through knowledge.
