Aphex Twin - Windowlicker. One of the most unique songs ever, period.
Alice In Chains - Rooster. Incredible story, beautiful composition, amazing vocals, possibly one of the greatest rock songs ever.
MF DOOM - Kon Queso. Sort of a deeper cut, but it’s definitely one of my favorite DOOM songs, I absolutely love the beat, lyricism, and sampling. Honestly the whole album I wish I could hear for the first time again.
Since high school, I’ve had a number of jobs here and there, and I just got my first job after college. During the summers, I did a lot of landscaping, and it made me realize how fulfilling manual labor work is to me, and made me rethink the career path I was looking into that mostly involved sitting in front of a computer. For some people, that is great, and they love their work! But I just started to feel a need to have a more physical job. Well I finally found work that I could use my college experience to get into and also involved physical work, and I’m so happy. I think I’m the kind of person that needs to move around a lot, so even though this wasn’t the job I was planning for during college, it’s one that makes me feel more fulfilled at the end of the day.
