this film is one of my all time favorites, and fits the criteria of what you’re looking for wonderfully!! full of longing, heartache, lush fields and pruned gardens. and beautiful people, of course
i don’t feel like i need to explain this. I’ve watched this movie once a week since i was 13. so stunning, so comforting. And what a superbly featured room and what excellent boiled potatoes

maybe not radical honesty, but like.. just living. like, twirling strangers in the dance hall because it feels right and skipping down the grocery aisles and sitting down and writing for yourself in public and having fancy ginger beer for breakfast and talking unabashedly. yknow??? maybe this is common sense but i’ve found peace again
