there’s some innate sense of shame or failure around stopping a piece of media partway through, but time is precious. dont waste a moment finishing something bc you feel an arbitrary drive to completionism. the grains of sand in the hourglass don’t care if you got through war & peace

life is too short for you to commit to something you don’t like
there’s no shame and should be no guilt in putting down that book because you’re just not liking, and choosing a new one that might be so much more interesting and attention grabbing

Shared eclipse glasses with all of the ppl at my Gramma's retirement home. was joined by so many lovely people. everyone was wowed by the sun n moon!! and it reminded me that sharing is caring esp sharing an experience with other humans <3
