my guy this is straight up not real lmao. first off development is not a straight line but a staggered on/off process, second off LLMs still have significant issues with hallucinations that haven't been solved

@STEELYFAN1998 BUT I’m gonna have to go all in on “nothing ever happens™️”! Im sure AI will continue to accelerate in terms of its capabilities, but I don’t think we’ll peril ourselves into some sort of AI apocalypse. at Least, not the type outlined in the RACE ending

I feel they are going to start tasking more to employees/students with the knowledge AI is available and it’s just going to increase its frequency/power to the general public. Deadlines are going to be firmer and fatigue is going to be inevitable.

AI is Scary... but uber cool - An amazing tool for pitches?
On Saturday, my wife and I were being lazy at home... It was really nice. When lying around, I remembered about this Art Director position I saw open for Ford Motor's.... I thought to myself what if I was to apply, what would I do... So I spent the morning and put together an AI video spec AD. To me, being a filmmaker, this is crazy and a little scary, but as a tool to pitch ideas, I think it is incredible and the future. I still have a lot to learn but please check out the full video if you have time. Would love to hear everyones thoughts about AI in general!

this is a pretty common one, but in my grad program there were people using AI to write papers/homework assignments/projects and then patting themselves on the back like they found some kind of life hack. they all graduated and have decent jobs but man was that a bleak omen of what education is becoming.
