I started making zines this year but they‘ve been gifts or on specific bands. This is my first personal zine! I really like it! Materials used are watercolours, acrylic marker, various pens and pencils, and a cigarette! I upload photos with OneDrive and edit with Photoshop and InDesign (friend’s school Adobe subscription). I was working on curating a playlist for the back cover but I’ve enjoyed printing off a zine for a specific person and writing a personal playlist for them with pen.

Had nothing to do today but making a zine and ordering 10 for print got my creative juices flowing! It’s called Life. Death. Party. Pain. and it’s full of pictures describing those words. I feel productive and I’m excited to get them in the mail… yay!

since high school, making little zines has been one of my preferred ways to journal and process things. I hope u enjoy this one from 2018 that I lovingly crafted with highlighters, crayons, and a glue stick. ❤️

My partner wrote a poem about a date of ours and made it into this BEAUTIFUL zine. The title is written in collaged letters on a thick paper cover. The interior of the zine is made with a brown paper bag that they printed on. They're a lino print artist and designed a really nice pair of scissors scissoring that is printed all over the pages in white. It's binded with read thread. The tin is exactly the size of the zine, thin, and covered in collage.

My boyfriend came across these illustrations looking through a book of french fairytales (adorable) and thought I’d like them and I DO! They’re by Virgina Frances Sterrett and so so so dreamy.
