GET A LIBRARY CARD did you know if you have a library card in New York you can take up to 3 of your friends to almost any museum for free, including the expensive ones like the Guggenheim, as Well as the theater and the opera? (link) You can also print things, hang out and do homework… did you know that At the prospect park branch you can take out a sewing machine, vinyl records, telescopes, and musical instruments? GET A LIBRARY CARD (even if you don’t ever use it, the more people who have library cards, the more funding they can get) !

Did you know that you can check out books from the library and read them on your phone?? Or a Kindle? (Superior experience IMO) And if you live in New York you can have THREE library cards at once and put holds on books at the Queens, Brooklyn, and New York branches to see which comes available first or simply scour all three for an old, dusty, rare read? It’s the best!

my friends showed me this movie in high school and it really opened me up to weird and alt movies and stories in all mediums. I watch it at least twice a year.

Nothing feels better than a good pen, I got this one from a stationary store in Tokyo called Kakimori. It is refillable with whatever color ink you like and is a traditional rollerball pen So there's not the fuss of more advanced writing utensils like fountain pens with nibs etc. When the cap comes off it extends the pens length and balances it out perfectly but that means when the cap is on it's shorter and more portable, it's also solid aluminum so it's super durable. The notebook is from a gallery in Bangkok that had a bunch of fun random notebooks made by artists. Kakimori also does custom notebooks which is super fun (This is not that one but I'll show off mine in another post) Side Note: stuffs A lot cheaper in japan
