Browsing the Wikipedia homepage

There is SO MUCH information, and with easy links to find out SO MUCH more about everything mentioned. Current events that are totally ignored in western media because it didn't happen in a western country, and the arguably best 'Did you know?' section in existence. And the elation when you actually already knew one of them is a greater high than any drug. And there's anniversaries, photos, recent deaths. I like to see it as the Home Page of existence

One second you’re on Queen Elizabeths page trying to find the name of her dad then before you know it you’ve clicked too many links and are learning about the murder of the Romanov family. Maybe not a great place to get real info but it’s entertaining.

THIS FIGURINE

when i was little, my uncle lived in japan with his wife. they would always send my sisters and me toys and candy and things related to the culture wherever they traveled to. this little wooden figurine is something they sent us back then and i’ve brought it with me everywhere i’ve lived. he passed away back in august so it’s become even more meaningful to me. i miss him literally every day and it’s always so nice to be reminded of him through little things like this.
