The amount of times that I’d be out with family and wish I was anywhere else. Tables have turned and now I feel sentimental every time lol

I know it's cliche, but looking back on these events and expressing gratitude for them (traumatizing ones notwithstanding), and looking at them with a fondness for contributing to who you have become today. See a photo of you helping a loved on work on their garden? Maybe you feel a certain connection with the earth or plants now and that moment contributed to it!

Like walking through a park and looking at the trees, someone saying a joke, a hallway I feel familiar in. Very boring scenes that somehow end up becoming real some days or months down the line and I have a dejavu and ‘aha!’ moment. my mother and sister also get it. very strange, has only come in handy a couple of times

over the past year i started collecting little things from days out with my friends or family or whatever. my room is COVERED in different receipts, packaging from stuff i've bought, postcards, birthday cards, and not just paper stuff, also things like rocks or little toys we've found or an empty bottle of jack daniels from my birthday last year which i mixed with kopparberg (don't ask me why because i don't know :') ) it's all on display in my room and i love my room for that. i'm surrounded by fond memories with those i love even if i can't exactly remember what some silly label was from or something, i know it's from something i enjoyed enough to stick it on my corkboard or something.
