natural when ur with them and a whirlwind when ur not? my brain doesnt usually bounce off the walls but when im not with them things feel noisy for no reason but then we’re in the same room again and before i have time to realise everything internally becomes still-not like fearfully still but like that gap of time on a sunny and slightly windy day when u stop hearing the leaves rustle or the grass sway and u didnt even notice how much background sound there was before its very different from lust where thats like a rush of ferveur for closeness(even if its a gradual tension its just like all ur nerves are at attention v much the opposite of how love feels for me)

-in the pit at a good concert, feeling like you're evaporating into a collective of energy and movement, just letting your body guide you as you move with the mosh of sweaty strangers -sitting in nature or walking through the forest and knowing that you and whoever you're with are both experiencing the same beauty without needing to verbalize it -and good sex, like the kind where y'all are just really on the same page and everything just flows right

I've been thinking about this for the past 24hrs I think we go through seasons, naturally Of desiring, and being desired, A pendulum back and forth Ebbs and flows I often seek connection And some days bask in it Remembering each during the other Makes the cycle less jarring

ephemeral. liquid, even. an infinite thread. (i know that’s three words/phrases sorry). but to me this idea is present as a unifying force in fleeting moments i’ve always had the freedom growing up to explore religion on my own terms, and i always felt like there was some uniting force in the makeup of our souls, even if it didn’t mirror the masculinized, christian God. i feel connected to this force whenever i learn about people in history and realize they werent much different than us in the modern day. we just had different cultural contexts. every time the season changes. when you’re with someone you really care about and even silence suffices. in the same vein, making friends. like that feeling when you meet someone and connect and know you want them to be in your lives for a while. fate is God to me. as is chance encounters. when i take walks in nature and i can hear the river and the trees and the birds calling all at once. even when you’re in line at a store and you make brief small talk or have a connection with a stranger. especially when you get a little laugh or smile out of it. overall, when i feel really connected with humanity and the earth as a whole. i feel like all organized and not-so-organized religion stems from the same place in our hearts and souls (despite these messages sometimes becoming warped and misused).

"separating the art from the artist" is a privileged ass take and doesn't exist. what people create is representative of how theyve interacted with the world thus far. what the world has done to them, what others have done to them, what theyve learned from others, what theyve done to others, how theyve navigated life with what theyve been given or with what theyve taken. if you deny that the nude portraits drawn by the hand of a sexual predator are a bastardised version of reality based on his perspective and experience of violence against women then you would also deny the experience of indigenous artists in their depictions of brutality in the face of colonialism or that a single stroke in a painting created by a Black artist holds the weight of going through life in america while being black. when consuming art, media, anything created by human hands/minds you must also be conscious of the creators lived experience, wether its negative or positive, if you want to make an accurate assessment on the art itself dont live and consume in ignorance
