GREAT BLUE HERON
Got a great photo of this fella while on my walk yesterday. They are huge, I saw a dad and his ~4 year old son on the path at the same time and I could estimate that the kid was probably smaller than the heron. They’re a bit eery, how they stand unwaveringly in the water.

they are so effing scary what the flip they can literally attack humans, live off the coast of the uk and are absolutely HUGE also not sure why the guy in this pic looks so pleased w himself he’s holding a literal slimy alien
