I have done this everywhere that I have lived. There are some beautiful images lost on the discarded blank face of a postcard, and they deserve to be cherished just as much as the big piece of art you have framed in your living room. You can find many for cheap at your local thrift. There’s a lot of fun to be had in grouping different images together for a collage effect. Space them out a bit more if it all feels a bit claustrophobic. Use some blue painter's tape for a pop of color.

I've recently been into making collages on my walls, and not like the tezza photos collage from 2019. I have collected so many photos, doodles, letters and other little knick-knack things throughout the years, especially this year, and I just love slapping them on my wall. I had the idea probably because of Pintrest, but I have also had all of these things for a while just sitting in a drawer. I thought they needed to be displayed in some way. Work of advise, don't be like me and use command strips for any painted wall because it will rip the paint off. I did it in my old room, and it did not end well. Use painters tape. Anyway, I did this collage at 1 am today! p.s Please excuse the mess that are my side tables right now

I started collecting postcards a couple of years ago, and I now have two photo albums filled with them! They’re from all over and many of them are gifts from others as well. I also tend to use them as wall decor! My favorites are all pieces from art history—one of my favorite disciplines of study as both an artist and a historian ;) most bookstores sell them, especially used bookstores! They’re a really fun item to collect as they each hold geographical and contextual significance in different ways!

my childhood bedroom is covered in all of the scraps i collected through high school in a big rainbow gradient. it was my covid project to finally hang the shit i’d been collecting for years but it looks so cool whenever i go home to visit! also, all throughout college i would cover my walls with my postcards and scraps to fill the temporary space. one time my roommate and i started a snack wall where we hung up the wrappers from every new snack we tried & left sticky note ratings

Last Thursday, a meteor appeared in the night sky over Los Angeles. I stood in place for 30 seconds watching it blaze brilliant red and orange before fizzling out suddenly. The experience moved me immensely and filled me with a sense of hope that I hadn’t felt in quite some time. I read later that it was a SpaceX satellite. I wish I hadn’t.

There's something about a wet and humid early morning that heals my soul. It's like a free sound bath. Especially if you are lucky and have a little bit of thunder alongside.
