Lately, I’ve been obsessed with these three albums: Something Beautiful by Miley Cyrus, Addison by Addison Rae, and Lifetime by Erika de Casier. Erika’s album especially! Do yourself a favor and give it a listen. I promise, it’s worth it.

i have complicated feelings about addison rae but geez im a sucker for her music. this new song is particularly good i love the swelling strings that accompany her vocals it sounds sooo good, reminds me of the strings in its not up to you - björk. i love it. so i put my headphonesssss onnnnnnn~~~~

this song/music video is so addictive i need the album immediately...
arguable the best out of the singles so far and this is genuinely near and dear to my heart because for some reason this perfectly captures the essence of the ideal scenarios that i would imagine when i was dancing freely as a child...
addison + team have bottled up that childlike whimsy and the feeling of release into icelandic trip-hop inspired goodness...

Long story short, I think I first watched it when I was around 9 or 10. I had just moved to a new place, didn’t know anyone yet, and had recently become friends with someone who ended up being really special in my life. I remember her brother had this huge movie collection, and one day they invited me over to watch something and it was Spirited Away. So not only did that moment mark the beginning of our friendship, but the film also became one of my all-time favorites because of everything it represents. I’m not the kind of person who usually watches the same movie over and over, but this one was an exception! I’ve watched it countless times. Back then, it sort of became our thing to watch movies together, and I think that’s when I really started falling in love with films.
