Time Will Tell

theres a slight nostalgia and yearning whenever this plays, especially when I drive. It evokes a feeling of constantly needing to be around my friends but at the same time i kinda wanna ride my bike around an army base (thanks luca), share my straw with him and put my face by a cold gate.

EVERYBODY'S CHANGING BY KEANE

heard a dj play this song at a club my friends and i always go to. we were trying to guess what it was because it sounded so familiar -- it turns out it was from a band we used to listen to. listening to it brought this strange wave of nostalgia i can’t quite explain. a warm, aching kind of feeling. like everything and everyone around me is changing -- including myself. it’s that indescribable mix of remembering who you were while feeling yourself grow into someone new.

STAINED GLASS AND SAGUAROS

visited my sister in blistering tucson, arizona — never seen that many cactuses (i know it’s cacti, it just feels right) learned that when they start to grow arms 🌵 they are at least 60 years old ! — saw an entire kewpie doll collection and have never felt an envy as true as when i saw their stained glass (museum of miniatures felt like a fantasy world and i couldnt recommend enough) — late night movie at the loft pulp fiction (not my choice) seems like the place to be lady at the front did a bag check though and made me put my gummies back in the car :( popcorn was good — sonora desert museum showed up grumpy and hot and upset i had to shill out another $30 vacation isn’t cheap absolutely beautiful mostly outdoors but i remembered sunscreen ( this time ) cave with groundsloth fossils wild cats and wolves an aquarium, in the sense that sure there are fish in there spiders ! snakes ! saguaros ! butterflies ! quails ! frogs ! a bird you had to be extra quiet around cause she was new and shy ! left way less grumpy, still hot, but absolutely worth the money — god bless ac — go visit your sister
