i was a chronic nail biter for like 13 years to the point my nails were sanded down to the edge!!! i think the only way to stop fr me was using nail hardening oil... it somewhat helped cuz my nails did harden and it was no use biting them cz everything would get sticky and oily, lowkey a sensory nightmare!!! but alas i havent bitten my nails fr almost 3 years but the urge still comes up once in a while
