Temple of angels - endless pursuit

Criminally underrated TX-based dream rock outfit with sounds ranging from dark and overcast, to sunny and optimistic. All of it is totally stunning. Perfect soundtrack to a snowy night, candle lit seance, or cloudy beach day. Listened to this vinyl so many times, my side B is warped 😭 FFO: The Cure, Cranberries, Camera Shy, Crushed, Narrow Head

We’re Not Here To Be Loved

Fleshwater’s debut album, and one that has been in my head since I first discovered it a few months ago. Very soft-grunge, post-hardcore alternative rock/nu gaze. Very emo and a bit dream-like. Their songs sort of blend into one another in some really interesting ways, so it’s a great one to enjoy in one sitting if that’s how you enjoy listening, and it’s a relatively short album too. Some highlights for me are Linda Claire Enjoy, and Closet. Kiss the Ladder is great too.

The radio dept - lesser matters

The Radio Dept is a band that I feel is severely under appreciated. This album will always hold a special place in my heart. Definitely in my personal top 10. It's like a nice warm hug of Northern European lo-fi reverb-laden goodness. This is also my go-to daytime high album. It's sunshine in sound. Carefree incarnate. Peace, bliss, and fuzz. A good buzz/trip guarantee. Go ahead and give it a try.
