i could go on and on and on about how much i’ve learned seen and heard from my parents over the years and the incredibly difficult life lessons i’ve learned / witnessed but to sum it up i will just say i love and respect my parents not only individually but as a married couple / team / parental units. they truly are the embodiment of through thick and thin, sickness and health, and i am immensely and endlessly grateful for them while also so incredibly proud of them.

Being outwardly thankful for great parents/family

Always talking about how lucky I am to have been raised by such amazing people. I’m still continuously supported by them while working & raising my own small humans. What I wrote in all of their bday cards growing up, “Happy Birthday to the best mom/dad in the world” still rings true. They are simply the best ever.

getting older got me to realise they're not the enemy and i'm really lucky to have parents who are actually good people that i respect because that is not the case for most people i know

HEAR ME OUT DIVORCED PARENTS

HEAR ME OUT DIVORCED PARENTS. I have divorced parents and thankfully I still get to see both but I love having divorced parents bc 1st first of all my parents used to fight a lot and now that they live separate there are less fights and it’s such a relief. 2nd reason: my dad doesn’t really care abt clothes so when I’m w my mom I have to dress decently (no short shorts) but when I’m w my DAD I can wear short shorts. 3rd reason is that my dad is WAY MORE FUN than my mom. 4th reason is that I’m WAY more open with my dad than my mom. Last but not least, the 5th reason is that if my parents weren’t divorced I wouldn’t have my two beautiful cats w my dad and my dog+turtle w my mom. That’s why I think parents being divorced is a great situation to be in (IN MY LIFE AND OPINION BC I KNOW THAT OTHER PEOPLES SITUATIONS ARE NOT AS GREAT SO IM THANKFUL)
