It occurs to me... that the posts I most connect with are ones where people unfurl their weirdo habits, values, inner lives (i love the "crush" genre of pi posts), ways of living, likes, dislikes, life philosophical points of view etc. I do treasure proper recs with an object, i.e. a new record or book or 8 hour youtube video, but I find myself really moved when someone shares how they live a good life. appreciating!!

Echoing a sentiment from Tyler, the Creator, where he tweeted for people to expand on what they liked about his songs and delve into the WHY (i.e the bridge, chords, riffs)
Truly believe itโs so so important to be able to articulate why things bring us enjoyment, pleasure and giddiness, because that just makes way for one to obsess/ research and learn more about said thing!
This is basically a gratitude post for PI, I just love blagging about what makes this Little Life of Mine more bearable !!!

someone speaks passionately about their favorite book? I read it! You loved this album I never heard of? I listen to it! Movies, experiences, activities, I love to try it all, maybe Iโll like it or not but I feel like I get to know all of a you a little and more importantly I learn about myself, here I feel free to embrace who I l am, I might not be super interesting but Iโm slowly becoming more me. ๐ฑ

I've been on a real journey lately. You see the person across the room and you know them... and you know they know you... but you know that they aren't going to come over and say hi... do it. Take the plunge. However the approach needs to happen, make contact. Don't wait until you see them at the next networking event and say "hey were you at the taco place the other day?" It's surprisingly empowering and frankly kind of an impressive social maneuver. The reward is giddy and powerful and immediate. It makes me feel like I've broken out of the matrix.

My friend and I happened upon this. Meaning, strive to live your life in a way that makes you feel hot. Dress to feel hot. Talk to feel hot. Do whatever you do, but in a way that makes you feel like you're worthy of the love and adoration and crushes and desire you deserve. This does not mean "sexy" necessarily--hotness is always shifting and has many forms. But reach deep inside and you'll find that your own personal method and mode of hotness can always, and most of the time is, an excellent guide.
