i'm spirtually a grandmother so I love the Carpenters so much. Karen Carpenter has a voice of an angel. I know everyone and their mom loves "(They Long To Be) Close to You" but I have cried to that song so many times. Its too beautiful and just sums up the experience of being in love perfectly, I don't think any song could sum up my lil optimistic yearning heart better than that one. There's also a Carpenters tribute album and The Cranberries do a soul-crushing cover of it, so good.
