brian david gilbert originally had this song as part of his "dances moving" series of youtube videos (which is rlly fun ngl) but then later redid it and put a more-produced version out with his band the alltogether on streaming services :))) im not gonna explain but the og yt video means a lot to me (but kinda requires context from the rest of the dances moving vids lol)

I just watched a TikTok (🔗) OK Go made about making the music video for Here It Goes Again and it warmed my heart. Sometimes we become so familiar with something we forget how magic it is. I really love reminiscing early internet / YouTube stuff, and this sums up the silliness a lot I think. OK Go were truly ahead of their time! Fuck ur big budget mv!!

Sometimes you listen to a song and you just don't get it. "Skip" you say. This was me when I first heard You Killed The Music by Debbi Dawson. Then I saw the music video and everything changed. I got it. Now when I play the song I'm transported to an ABBA-esque, sparkly, low resolution, kaleidoscope dream world. Sometimes you really just need a good visual to connect to a project.
