now i understand people have to pay the bills and whatnot, but an unserious job (or let’s be real, unpaid internship) is about as good as life can get. my boss offered me work off tomorrow because it’s going to be 78 degrees and beautifully sunny. hell fucking yeah brother. networking, wikipedia, and phone calls from old irish women is my whole responsibility.

im soul crushingly bored with my life and ready to gain some independence so im setting up this contract job for myself a couple hours away. it’d be three weeks paid lodging and food and hard physical labor. totally nothing ive tried before. but fuck im so bored. i really hope it works out i think some hard work will be good for my soul

i used to work for a big soul-less company and now i do accounting for a tiny company with like 25 total employees. my boss brings us treats when she goes on trips and we all sit and have lunch together and it feels like family dinner and people are paid fairly and it feels real good, man.
