DISASTROUS SITUATION
forgot my headphones at home so i’ve been listening to the staff playlist at my favorite coffee shop. it was great, and then they skipped Silver Soul. this can only spell disaster for the left in this country, if our baristas are passing on indie essentials. in other words, we’re losing recipes.

unthinkable. I feel like this would never happen at the they/them helmed coffee spot I go to, but I can’t let myself get complacent. shoutout to my spot for playing Van Houten’s newest album in its entirety one day because the staff simply wanted to. wish I was there that day

@SOFTSHELLED it seemed like a whole of staff playlist and the staff today weren’t the ones i usually see, so maybe it was just timing. i need to go during prime unemployment hours (11-2) instead of close to closing. i know what my people like
