if you have a modern flat screen television, open the settings, go to "picture settings" and disable anything that sounds like “auto motion, auto motion plus," "action smoothing," "judder reduction," "motion clarity.” etc. it’s nonsense and it's ruining your movies. Fix your parents tv next time you're at their house.
