Hard times feel so much less hard when you traffic in positive energy and gas people up and make them feel good about themselves as much as possible. Whether it’s your local bodega guy, a coworker, or even a date you really liked that’s breaking things off with you, lean into the good energy and try to leave people feeling better about themselves with the end of every interaction to the extent that you can. It’s good for you as much as it is for them!
(obviously there are exceptions to this advice and people who def do not deserve it but the general point stands)

idk abt u but being nice makes me feel better!!!! tell that random stranger you like their fit or jewelry or that you noticed they have a pretty smile! tell ur friends what u appreciate abt them!!!! being nice is cool!!!! like it is so ingrained in my life i don't even keep track anymore but it is a great little goal to keep in order to stop feeling sad or self-deprecating and in general just idk bring more positivity and good vibes into the world :)
