Picnic dates

i have grown tiresome of restaurant dates with friends. the breeding ground for shallow conversations are high as intimate thoughts are left in a deep drought. cameras are clicked in hope of catching the perfect angle for a meal and a few drinks. bringing back picnic dates would call for intimate and interactive conversations and moments with friends and family.

Eating outside in silence

Weather permitting!! it helps you be utterly present with your meal while avoiding being bored. I’ve tried to eat in silence inside and it feels eerie. Something about hearing the birds, hearing the trees and feeling the sun while enjoying your meal feels primal and satisfying. Bonus points if your meal actually comes from the earth.

My series of experimental close-up photographs made last year in San Marino's Lacy Park, during spring, summer, fall, and winter exploring the transformation of the natural landscape throughout the seasons is on view at Crowell Public Library until March 21st!  I am having a casual closing reception on sunny Saturday, March 15th to celebrate spring with sweet treats 1-4p! The show is also open during library hours Sunday 1–5 PM Monday-Thurs 10 AM–8 PM Friday - Saturday 10 AM–5 PM  1890 Huntington Dr San Marino CA 91108 :)
