i just bought crocs with money that should be going to my busted water tank
no hot water makes me stronger than all of you *crying*
also learned the previous owner of this mobile home found the deceased water tank at the dump probably so this will be an interesting experiment to see if new hot water tank fixes all of my problems

for context: in Mineral Wells, TX, there is a company called Crazy Water that bottles high mineral content water from the town’s namesake springs. there is also a hotel in town that was once a high profile vacation destination for celebrities who came to the small town in the early 1900s to bathe in the hot springs. the shell of the hotel has sat abandoned and in disrepair for decades after the great depression dried up the tourism economy, and since then the town has had multiple efforts to restore the hotel and make the town a tourist hub again. after beginning renovations like over a decade ago, it was recently announced that the hotel would be opening up again and is being sponsored by the local Crazy Water company (see link).
in a group chat with some friends of mine who are familiar with the town because we pass through on the way to the nearby Possum Kingdom Lake for our yearly group trip, the news of the plans for the hotel were shared. one of my friends then said “the crazy water hotel is just a normal water hotel to a sick twisted guy like me.” I then made this meme to play off that

im leaving out all of the grown men’s houses/apartments I had no business being at when I was a teen cause that’s a picture to paint to a therapist but this is my ex’s house in 2016 which was mostly empty except the things he built out of trash like the oats light and one room was completely empty except a huge home made pink heart shaped bean bag

trying to get the local city council to make some movement with a toothless ceasefire resolution from february is weirdly crazy hard
i don’t know how inner government works and it’s confusing and it feels silly that even a small town is so bogged down in bureaucracy
idk some people advise working within the government system to change it and some advise tearing it apart to build on top and some people want to do a little bit of both and i guess i think we should use everything at our disposal

i once listened to a podcast about streakers at national sporting events and learned that they have specially made clothes that they can rip off their bodies super quick. they dont usually get the clothes back, which is sad
