still in progress but felt like sharing. i was inspired to create this after a really nasty interaction with a professional artist that left me questioning my entire career.
i wanted to tackle the idea of making something beautiful out of something deeply painful. i've somewhat lost the fire i had for it, but i still really feel the imagery in my soul.
also built and stretched the canvas all myself!
i donβt work w oils often, mainly tempera, collage, and digital but this is the one i'm still most proud of as of late bc itβs way bigger (18x24) than i'm used to working <3
i like taking the time to order playlists to convey a specific feeling or story. sometimes i challenge myself connect songs that dont have any business being on the same playlist
its time consuming but very rewarding
